To download visit our download page.
To download and run Cart Control you must first create an account at http://www.alloken.com, or, if you already have
an accout, you must login.
If you are already logged in on the Alloken web site, look to the left of the page and select Cart Control > Download
from the menus. You will be redirected to a page where you can download the software.
How do I install Cart Control?
After clicking the link on the download page the software should be automatically installed. Unfortunately, only
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox are currently supported. If the download does not automatically
start when using the FireFox browser it may be because the "Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant" add-on is not installed.
You may install this add-on in FireFox by selecting Tools | Add-ons from the menu, and typing "Microsoft .NET" into the
search box. You will then be able to install the add-on.
How do I launch Cart Control?
The installation program will automatically run the application the first time. It also adds a desktop link
and an entry in the start menu that you can use to run the application in the future. The start menu link is
at All Programs >/ Alloken, LLC > Cart Control. The application will automatically check for new versions
when it starts up. If an update is found you will be given the option to install it, or, if it is a critical update it
will be installed automatically.
How do I update Cart Control?
Cart Control automatically checks for and downloads any necessary updates. If you are currently using a version
prior to 3.0, you should manually uninstall any older versions on your machine before installing the new version.
You can then install the new version from the download page.
What do I get with a license for Cart
Control?
Cart Control is free but licensed software. The license allows the use of the software for all users
registered on your account. The software builds shopping carts of used books for bulk purchasing.
It allows you to load a file containing your complete shopping list which we then scan and find books
to meet your needs from our affiliates.
How is my account activated?
No activation is neccessary to use Cart Control, though you will have to set up an account on
the Alloken website to obtain and login to the Cart Control application. When running Cart Control
you must provide the username (e-mail address) and passowrd at the login screen.

How do I purchase the books now that you have found them for me?
Once your carts have been built, you must continue to a retailer's web site, such as Amazon.com,
to purchase your books by clicking the Cart Link from within Cart Control.
Retailers allow the purchase of books via several methods including credit cards, gift
certificates, and purchase orders (via a corporate account).
An important thing to know is that credit card
fraud detection will cancel a large number of orders that occur in a single day. Because each used reseller will count
as a separate sale this may mean that a single cart of 50 items may trigger your credit card
company's fraud alert system. Contact your credit card company for more information on their policy of
online purchases and fraudulent purchases before making a large number of purchases.
The recommended payment method is to use a corporate account along with purchase orders.

Who do I pay for the books ordered?
Books ordered using Cart Control are ordered directly from the affiliate retailer, so you must pay the retailer for
all books ordered.
Can I return books purchased using Cart Control?
In most cases they allow
returns if the book is damaged or not what you ordered if you activate a return within 30 days
of receiving it. However, this policy may change at any time, so please refer to the retailers website before placing
any orders.
What is the maximum price?
In the main window of Cart Control you will have the option to set the maximum price you
are willing to spend for each title. Books purchased through our affiliates are non-returnable
just like books purchased from students at buyback. For this reason, Alloken suggests
a maximum price set at your normal buyback price minus the standard Amazon shipping price
of $3.99. For example: If a book sells new in your store for $100 and you pay 50% at buyback,
your maximum price for Cart Control would be (100 x 0.5) - 3.99 = $46.01. You may set the maximum
price to any valid price, but the number of books found by Cart Control will be limited to titles
that fit your criteria.
